Landing a Sea Trout

It is half past six in the morning and he had just
pulled alongside steps by the West Pier to land eight
sea trout each weighing between 3 and 10lbs.
On tightening the net from the top of the pier
another two could be seen trapped in the net so
no time to waste before getting back into the boat
and hauling the net before some predatory seal
could take a leisurely breakfast.
