Hungry Mouths

Today has been very warm, with temperatures up to 25 degrees, making it feel quite tropical! There are however, heavy dark clouds gathering and it feels very stormy.
I found a little nest of birds today, down in a hollow brick which supports a water butt, hence the slightly dodgy picture! The little yellowish bits are the beaks. As soon as they hear noise near by the open their beaks wide and squeak. I'm not sure how they will fledge from here, hope they make it out though.
