Oriental Poppy

You all know I love photographing the California poppies in the desert.....well, the Oriental poppies are blooming here, and I think they're even more beautiful. This one, in particular, was unique to me because of the fringe on the edges. What an unexpected gorgeous day we have had in Portland, and for that I am grateful!!
