I spent a good part of the day preparing for a Princess party Em is going to tomorrow. I'm not the best seamstress but I found something so easy I gave it a go. No sewing, just knotting lots of tulle lengths onto the end of a pretty T-shirt. The final effect is really very pleasing.

Unusually for me, I went for pink. I generally avoid it, as I feel there's far too much of it thrust at girls. Anyway, it's a princess costume, it's supposed to be pretty and different from everyday clothes. So it is pink. So too are the floors throughout most of the house where glitter has fallen from the tulle. The sparkles catch my eye as I move through the house.

Today's efforts reminded me of this. Lyrically not entirely appropriate in this context, but it's worth an airing.
