Journey Through Time

Traffic Update

There seems to be a logjam on the log as Terrance, at the top right, decided to do a U-turn and totally stopped traffic today at Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. This reporter had to leave, but at air time, Terrance was still trying to navigate against the natural traffic flow, so who knows how that came out. Western Painted Turtles apparently have a poor sense of direction.

I gotta tell you it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL at Ridgefield NWR today. Check it out, folks. We saw Cinnamon Teal ducks, Gadwall ducks, turtles of course, a bullfrog AND we got to hear his sound, which was just amazing. Neither Bill nor I have ever heard one like that before. We saw a tree swallow with a big feather in his beak, which ended up in their nesting cavity in the tree. And the landscape was just so pretty today with big clouds, and the green, green, green grass and trees that was just so spectacular. I hope you can take a quick peek at our day.

Then we went to a really nice nursery in Woodland, but ended up at the one Bill works at and got a few more flowers for the baskets we do for the front of our house. Then a quick stop at the grocery and home. A lovely day.
