Backstreet Chinatown

A visit to Manchester today which was really for a meeting but left an hour or so for a minor foray into the city centre - I went up Piccadilly and then wandered through the Northern Quarter and back through Chinatown to return to the station. There was plenty to see and point the camera at and it made me think I should come back for a whole day and see more of it. The Northern Quarter and Chinatown have lots of scruffy back streets that looked almost like they could be in some American city, with iron fire escapes and tenements, and many ventilation ducts behind the Chinese restaurants.
