Sunrise at the Pig Route

The Pig Route is where my son farms, exactly half way between Ranfurly and Palmerston. Why the Pig Route so called I am not sure but at times they certainly have trouble from wild pigs. For my grandsons it is a great place to grow up. At the moment aged 13 and 15 and have already shot wild pigs , deer ( for Cameron a 14 pointer) rabbits etc. No cell phone coverage and they don't worry too much about the computer except for their homework so spend all their spare time out on the farm a good healthy life.
This morning I was out before it was even properly light to view the hay feeder Cameron had made in the school holidays. His maternal grandfather had taught him to weld and helped him make it quite an achievement.
They catch the school bus at 7.40am so it was while I was waiting at the bus stop with them that I caught this sunrise before setting off for home again.
Will go back down again next week so hope there is some good light around again and time to make use of it
