Mares and foals

These horses live in the field beside the railway line. It always reminds me of the part in 'Black Beauty' where the young horse is sent to a field near the tracks so it will not be afraid of the noisy steam engines. The mares have foals each year sired by the white stallion, they are always beautifully speckled, and will never be fearful of trains.
