Toytown

I'm starting to get a bit sick of the Times with it's so-called 'Rich List' continuing to fetishize the excess wealth of the few. Apparently the wealth of the top 1000 people in the country has doubled over the last five years, whilst most people have suffered wage freezes that have seen their actual standards of living keep on falling. Somehow the lame excuse of generating national wealth and creating jobs seems to pale when the figures involved get so high - and it's clearly not the case that the companies these few run have doubled their workforces during the same period that they've doubled the money in their bank accounts.
