Happy: Day 13

I was grumpy yesterday, so I'm a day behind.

Hospital trip yesterday (not me, the boys granny - my mum) for her last chemo session. It's funny - well, it's not - we see people getting ill and getting better on so many occasions that we can forget that's not always the outcome. She should be ok, which is a happy thing in itself, and I hope we all remember to make the most of it.

Anyway. This is 13. Money shouldn't make me or anyone else happy. For sure it is easier to stave off the things that make you unhappy if you have money, but right now money is such an intangible electronic thing it's nice to see a real note. The boys like nothing more (well, the internet maybe) than being allowed to walk to the village shop on their own with a couple of quid to buy an ice cream.

That's something to be happy about.
