Well I never!!!

I saw this pigeon this morning, perched on one of the bridges that go over the 3 rise Locks in Bingley - it sat there for a while, just watching the world go by - and was even unfazed by Chino - to be fair Chino was unfazed by the pigeon too...
I wondered if they actually were more friend or foe so I googled some info about them - and I was surprised to find out that they are actually one of the most intelligent birds on the planet and they mate for life with both parents sharing the rearing of the chicks... well I never!!! Pigeon facts!!
