Busy Bee

The forecast was not too good for this afternoon so had a bike ride this morning. I stopped off a few times to photograph various flora and was particularly struck by the broom and gorse.

The bees too were enjoying their visits to this broom plant. I was actually trying to get a reasonable close up of the flower and was unaware until I got home that I had managed to catch this bee with its pollen basket almost full.

This afternoon was better than forecast so we had a walk with Jet in
Lower Farndale however nothing competed with this shot.
