View From The Waiting Room

Not content with digging up half the roads in Aberdeen contractors have started work outside the surgery. Today it felt like I was consulting in a building site - which I effectively was.
Unfortunately work will last 5 weeks and access to the surgery is complicated and necessitates navigating a chicane of traffic cones.
Patients have been pre warned about the work and have been told to allow extra time to get to appointments..Many, however, have opted to leave their cars at home and have simply walked to the surgery - an unexpected health benefit of the work.
