Doha Days

The world's tallest man-made structure is the 829.8 m (2,722 ft) tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The building gained the official title of "Tallest Building in the World" at its opening on January 4, 2010. Wikipedia.


Today after the business meetings were over - and they went very well - we were taken downtown to see the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. I was impressed by the architectural audacity of the former but not impressed by the soullessness of the latter.

Our elder son announced his engagement to his long term girlfriend today. We are all delighted!
