Rain on the Rose

I've been looking at this rose for days. I love its rich, dark, velvety red; the delicate veins in the leaves; and (take my word for it) its gorgeous, heavy scent. But although I've pointed the camera at it a few times, I was never very happy with the picture I thought I'd get from it.

Early this evening we had a light shower of rain, and when I stepped out into the garden and saw the rose, I knew its moment had come! :)
