Perspective
Well, today marks 1 year that I have been posting a picture and an entry to this journal. When I started, my daughter had been gone for 7 months and my world was very dim. Being part of this blip experience and a few other things have changed my perspective in so many ways. It has given me one very positive and uplifting thing to do each day. One way to remember Sumner, one way to distract from the memories and one way to make new ones. The support and friendships have made it an easy place to look for all those things. Thank you to all of you and to Blip Central for creating this space in time.
This photo was taken at a place called Cathedral of the Pines. In 1945 Sybil and Sandy Sloane dedicated this place to all the people, including their son Sandy, who had lost their lives in WWII. They envisioned that their cathedral without walls would welcome people of every faith in a spirit of unity and mutual respect. Many Faiths, One Family, One Earth.
You really should look in LARGE.
It was a beautiful day and the new life of spring was evident everywhere.
