After the deluge!

BT said that they would send an engineer to the care home to fix my Mum's phone (after 7 weeks without a phone) today, between 1 and 6pm. After such a lot of hassle, I wanted to be there in person! I left home at 7.50am and arrived just before 1pm. The engineer came soon after 2pm and was there for 2 hours. At the end of all that, she has a working phone. It makes very strange noises when she dials out before the ringing tone starts, but, nevertheless, it now works!! The engineer himself was lovely so I couldn't say anything...!!
I had intended to do a blip of a water bird on the local pond but it absolutely poured with rain, so I took this shot when I got back from visiting Mum this evening.
