Mosta Rotunda

Our first full day of our holiday here in Malta and we took the local bus to Mosta to visit in my opinion the most beautiful church ever.
I had visited before, but the others hadn`t and I stayed silent whilst they stood and gazed round at the murals and everything else.
They where amazed at the story of the bomb which fell through the roof during one of the 1000`s of air raids in WW2, the church had a congregation of 300 for the service yet the bomb failed to explode.
My parents used to holiday in Malta for many years and this was one of their favourite places. I lit some candles and placed them at the foot of the statue of Our Lady
