Pheasant Eye Daffodil
These are called "Poeticus" or "Pheasant's Eye", as the red rimmed yellow cup against the white of the petals somewhat resembles a pheasant's eye. They're just starting to bloom, & I really enjoy these, as they don't need any care, they spread on their own & they're wonderfully fragrant! Who could ask for more? I'm sorry I'm a little behind on comments--late start day today & I'm meeting my friend for dinner in a little over an hour, so I'll catch up tomorrow! :))
