Our last island

Monday morning saw the Hebridean Princess docking in Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull, allowing guests to walk ashore instead of using the tenders. We had a good coach run across the island to Ulva Ferry, where the attraction was the small but wonderfully quirky garden of Lip na Cloiche.

A sunny afternoon sail down the Sound of Mull was the only real opportunity to lounge around on deck and many guests took advantage of it. It brought us to our last anchorage, off Dunstaffnage Marina, where we were taken by coach to the garden at Ardchattan Priory, on Loch Etive. Unfortunately it bucketed down, and we soon returned to the ship for the Gala Dinner, our last on board.
