Ever feel trapped?

Last night this moth was flapping in the window. We felt sure he would free himself; he was really big and strong.

Apparently the web was stronger. This morning he was trapped.

I think this is cool. I know the moth is more beautiful, and that death is not something we normally celebrate. But the spider is really fascinating. The web is truly amazing. It is the natural way of things.

It is real.

Life is not always puppies and rainbows. Sometimes it is dirt and spit.

I love puppies and rainbows, but grit has some moments too.
