Insect Hotel

I bought this little hotel for insects for just 3 Euros in the local garden centre, it did make me feel a bit guilty wondering how much the people who make these were getting paid.
Installed it in the garden near my damson tree which is this year plagued with greenfly and/or aphids. I was thinking that if I can attract some ladybirds to the hotel, they can lunch on the aphids. Well it seems to work quite well with the exception that a blue tit has also spotted the hotel so is calling by to eat the residents before they eat the aphids.
