lost at sea

"Lost at Sea"

The feelings get so strong and I get so overwhelmed
I am in the middle of the sea with no life jacket
Slowly, ever slowly I am sinking and there is no one to save me
One wave after another comes crashing down on my head
As I struggle to remain on top I figure it would be easier
Just to sink and forget the struggle but I get it into my head that
I can fight against it and I feel a strong hand under me
Keeping me above until another wave comes and
I can feel the strong hand no longer and I start to sink again
It takes all my strength to fight this power and in the end
I am left weak but I know in my heart that I will come victorious
One day I will come to hard ground and I will be stronger because of it.
