BONANZA......

... or it seemed that way!!!!

Went for a walk to the my favourite Nepean River and it seemed nothing much doing by way of a Blip? Sighted this guy fly fishing, so thought a shot in the can may do the job for today as time was short!

Then it appeared everything "came to play" - first as I was walking back spotted a couple of water fowl diving in for tucker, but not really a clear shot due some undergrowth.... BUT wait on - what did I spot splashing in was this Azure Kingfisher, but way away and through the scrub not really a good target.

All the way along could hear the bellbirds singing, and then again spotted this little bellbird feeding in a pine tree.

So, things were going well, but have blipped both of these so what else can we find - well "blow me down" then away down on a log spotted this turtle sunning itself!

That's something new so best move on as time getting short, and as walked further along spotted this flower of a noxious weed and thought it looked good in the sun.

But, look what flew in front and landed just nice which made my decision - this monarch butterfly, and having not Blipped one thought it needed to be the one.

Ended up with a nice mix of "fun", just wish that kingfisher had been a bit closer and more open.... oh well next time.
