Sunny May Day

You wouldn't think we were on the threshold of winter. It's so warm today - when I went up to the post office just now, the car was reading the outside temperature as 27 degrees! That's almost unheard of at this time of year.

We took advantage of the fine weather to get in a little safari into Brownhill Creek. Even though it was around 1 pm, the light was already going.

There were SO MANY little birds flitting around. This one - a female fairy wren - stayed still long enough for me to get a shot. But she was a long way away, so I really do recommend you don't bother with large.

Once again, I have to say, the response to MonoMonday was outstanding. Many amazing images. My theme for next Monday is WEATHER.
