On the way to work

I saw the lovely fallen leaves covering the ground. To be honest I saw them yesterday so decided to walk to work with my camera this morning. The walk takes about half an hour through the centre of town and along next to this park. Behind the green tufted grasses is an adventure playground for children. This cost the council a considerable amount of money to build but it is well used and loved by all ages.

We often have a foggy start to the day here in the autumn and winter as our city is in a valley. If you climb up the mountains out of the valley it is clear and sunny. We are glad when winter is over more due to the fogs than the cold weather.
