L'Aurore

Basil has this habit of stirring just after 4 am, which wakes me up, and often I can't go back to sleep. Very annoying.

Got up at 5 am just as dawn was breaking and saw some rather nice pink tinged clouds, as you can see. Made a cup of tea and went back to bed. At 8 am it was raining.

No time for photography thereafter but it felt a successful day. Learned that I'd been awarded 2nd and 3rd prizes for Ashby Arts Festival Photo Exhibition, for which there is a pecuniary award! Then I won the in-house audiovisual competition at Shepshed and District Camera Club in the evening.
