Versailles Palace

We took the RER to Versailles today. It was really easy getting there with the train. I planned the trip to Versailles poorly and did not check the opening days of the palace. We weren't able to see the Hall of Mirrors, boo! They're closed on Mondays.

Instead we toured around the palace gardens and we also biked around the big lake. It was a lot of fun!

Later in the day, we met up with Nick and his friend for dinner. We went to a restaurant called "Le Relais de Venise." It was really good. I can only expect the best from Nick's choices.
