Outside Hyderabad

Made an impromptu plan to visit friends in Hyderabad. Enjoyed home cooked meals despite having succumbed to the heat and a changed clock. Lots of good conversation, an early morning photowalk and browsing some beautiful albums.

I felt the same way about the place I had when we left. The number of big companies has risen, so has the need for housing in what was a poor village a decade or two back. The economic divide is so clear, it is almost ugly. Everything is priced exorbitantly and there is no mandate to provide quality in return. The poorer section have decided they are entitled to their share of the cake. With the new government, I hope this gap gradually closes.
