Granny Bonnets

After my stint in the charity shop I came home to bright sunshine and have spent a very pleasant time in the garden - as rain is promised.
Had a phone call from an old school friend I have been trying to trace. She still lives a few miles away and I am going to visit her and her husband on Sunday. Haven't see her for about 45 years!
This flower was a present from a friend a few years ago and I always thought it was purple, but she assures me it has always been cream!
