Landscape near Callander
A new path has been made at Milton near Callander by the Woodland Trust at the beginning of what is to be a long distance path called The Trossachs Way which will link Callander with Inversnaid. This should be an interesting and scenic walk. This shot is from the road to Invertrossachs looking back to Bocastle Hill and Samson's Stone both of which can be visited on a brief detour from the main path.
I made a circular walk back through the woods to Callander and Kilmahog .
The highlights of today however were the bluebells covering the hills, the astonishingly blue skies filled with huge Cumulus clouds and the brilliant yellow of gorse and broom.
A very fine Scottish summer day!
