Deflating

Leftovers from my sons birthday. They've been there for a few days, because we don't know what else to do with them. Occasionally one bursts (why?), but the rest are shrinking, at varying rates. There's always something comical about the balloon, particulary to (my) children. But as they deflate, they take on many more amusing bodily shapes and forms. The ballon cycle from energetic inflation to their inevitable demise seemingly much like our own physical lives. Hey ho.
