Again, my favourite street.
“I really love this city. It’s so very beautiful. It’s so multidimensional.People say it has a darkness and a decadence, which it tries to hide; they say it’s full of the pretentious and opulent trying to strangle the dark reality. But that’s true for most of the other great cities too. . . .There is a soul here . . . and that soul is as pure as the heat of the sun that shines down on it and the rain that falls to purify it.”
― Umair Naeem, Drowning Shadows
The sky is blown out on this photo but I quite like it.
Because I always park in the "secret car park" when we go to town it means we always get to walk down my favourite street. I have taken so many pictures along this stretch of old and modern buildings and I never tire of it. We had to go into town and pick up my daughters specs...Ray Bans! Ray Bans that Granny paid for, I didn't get my first pair of Ray Bans until I was 42, so yeah, last year. She does really suit the shape of the frame though and anything that makes her feel more positive about herself can only be a good thing.
P.s the "secret car park" isn't really a secret I had to drive round it twice today before somebody left so I could get in, it is however easy to get to and not a multi story....gettin.
