Folly Lake

This man made lake was on our walk today. I was leading the walk in my favourite area, north of Hadrian's Wall. We had wonderful weather today - so good that I've managed to sustain sunburn to one elbow that missed out on sun screen.

Sixteen of us had a good day out. Then I rushed home to make the meal, jumped in the shower and quickly got ready to see the Oscar Wilde play in Hexham. It was all about his trial. I had to fight sleep in the first half I'm afraid. I thought the 3 man team did well but Wilde himself lacked both flamboyance and emotion.
