Back paddock

It was all about Cousteau at the vet's this morning. He had yet another (lovely) vet dressing his sore foot. She is pleased with how it's coming along, but was nervous that he might snap at her. His licks soon put her mind at rest and she relaxed. He has that way with people.

Then into Sunbury to do a few errands and to the inlaws' for lunch. We did a few bits of bobs there and then headed home for a walk around the farm. This is our back paddock and the light was just perfect. Somehow the one with barbed wire, in b&w suited my mood today.

I've just made a fennel, orange and grape salad to go with our chicken, chili, lime and coriander pasta.

Mr Barking has had a twelve hour day today and will be in need of some sustenance when he gets in shortly.

Better check on my pasta.
