After the rain.

I have had to move out of my comfort zone photographically today as I have come down with the sort of lurgy that prevents one from going too far from home if you catch my drift! I tried hand held shots but they were dreadful, so had to use the tripod and timer.
This is an image of a rose we planted in memory of my late Dad which is in full bloom right now. After the heavy rain last night most of the flowers are bruised, but the centre of this one survived.

Yesterday's image "Reach for the sky" hit the spotlight and is still there! Thank you all - that has cheered me up! ((:
