Strawberries & marmalade
With her help
The strawberries
Will be fat & juicy.
This marmalade hoverfly (Episyrphus balteatus) is very common in the UK. It's a good pollinator and its larvae feed on aphids, so it's a boon in the garden. They're around all year but this one could be a migrant from the continent, as I'm near the coast. Here, it's feasting on a strawberry flower. There's a better picture of one here.
