Restoration Project

I called in at the workshops of the Steam Railway this morning where carriage No.4115 a three compartment brake van is being painstakingly restored to it's former glory.

The van with it's characteristic curved window which enables the guard to see down the length of the train was found in a sorry condition in a field but within the next year will be proudly running as part of the railway's vintage rolling stock.
