The one thing about the New Forest (apart from the variety of moorland and forest) I love is that to me its an entirely different world.

You sometimes get a chance, by chance sometimes, to be up close to some of the animals like this one (or what they refer to as a pony). Some of them like this one, who walked towards me eating, are not disturbed at all by your presence.

Finding them walking on some of the roads and lanes is also quite a sight.
