So I decided to do a Throw back Thursday post, this is one of my first art shots from high school in the late 80's. I was using (and still do) a 1963 Miranda G SLR a great camera and a Kodak film that had the grain structure of a fine PEA Gravel. It is amazing how far photography has come and is still evolving. I will end my posting today with what I tell all budding photographers "It's not the equipment that you use or have at that point in time, it's what you do with it!" Equipment is a tool that allows you to capture what you see and feel, don't let it hold you back. I use whatever I have at hand, cellphone, plastic camera, 51 year old SLR, or a new DSLR, sometimes I will use them all because each one has its own spirit and will interpret the scene in it's own unique way. I only had a 5omm lens with that camera, if I wanted a close up I had to get closer, which always let me find something new on the path to the original shot.
Sorry got on my soap box, keep on shooting I love looking at all of the different views everybody has of the world around them.
