Let's Hear It For The Greens!

Even though it's a voting day in the UK and Europe, I'm not canvassing for the Greens - it's green I'm interested in.

Welcome rain fell all night, much to the relief of gardeners and farmers whose crops were getting a bit on the dry side in this part of England. My garden was dripping luxuriously this morning and the day has continued wet and stormy. Plants that were drooping have turned vibrant green again and are lifting their heads high.

The thunder and lightning settled overhead for a couple of hours meaning all the computer equipment was unplugged so I indulged in reading instead of working. Every cloud does have a silver lining :-)
