Rings

After voting in the European Parliamentary election this morning, I decided to go for a wander through Chacefield Wood, near Denny. There was much evidence of tree-felling, with large swathes of the wood denuded and piles of sawn, strimmed and stacked (alliteration unintentional!) tree-trunks at frequent intervals along the side of the path. On the plus side, they made for some interesting photographic patterns.

Went for this one of a single trunk for my Blip of the day. Loved the pattern and the texture.
