Open Doorways

While cooking supper tonight (and while A was working hard putting together the rest of the weeks lessons for school) I got actually more than 5 minutes free to take a blip. The back door was open and the sun had dipped below the horizon leaving me staring at a beautiful blue sky silhouetting black tree-line in front of the off white door. It was making me feel all mediteranean with the warmth flooding in so I experimented with exposure times and focal distances. Guess from that inevitably this blip will mean a lot more to me than will come across from a simple shot like this.
