Poppies in the Rain

During Saturday's workshop, Lee Karen Stow showed some examples of her current project of Women in War and she is using poppies as a visual link. Her shots of both the women and the poppies were stunning and I found them really touching. I really loved these poppies on the roadside dripping with rain and popping with colour.

I have now finished work for the next week and a bit and I am really looking forward spending some time with the family and just generally relaxing and taking it easy..just hope we get some decent weather!
