Between the showers

I made good use of the gaps between the showers and had a couple of walks by Ullswater in the morning and past Brotherswater this afternoon.

This is the south end of Brotherswater and although it was still overcast the bluebells on Hartsop Dodd opposite are still obviously blue.

Lots of birds at this end of the Lake - Sandpipers, Cormorant, Mute Swans and Ducks including a rather special one called a Goldeneye.
