On the road again

Living where we live is very lovely but it is a bit of a drag that the main airport is 5 hours drive away! Partly it's a long way, partly it often means an extra hotel night at the start or end of the journey.
So tonight we are in a hotel and tomorrow morning, at the relatively civilised hour of 09:00 we get the shuttle bus to the airport and fly off to Manchester.
This picture is from Törnebro cafe, where we often stop for a cup of coffee, because it's half way and in the summer it is lovely to sit out over the lake edge, on their covered jetty.
Today the swifts (or were they swallows) were zooming in under the roof, over where we sat and then screeching at each other, in joy or in anger, I'm not sure which!
In my picture you can see the silhouette of a tail as the bird flies in under the roof.
The temperature was 24°C with a warm wind blowing up from the south.
Tomorrow we will be in Blackburn where the temperature will be much lower and the sun will be conspicuous by it's absence, but we will be meeting the family!
