Harwich and Dovercourt
I returned to a couple of the towns of my early childhood again today, the spooky, creepy, Harwich and Dovercourt. Harwich in particular seems to have a strange atmosphere, but I always like to visit as I have lots of happy memories when I was very young. I remember going to nursery with my mum, who was a nursery teacher in Harwich, travelling there on the back of her bike on a little seat which probably wouldn't pass the 'ealth & safety test these days!), visiting the beach, park etc..
My trotters are a little sore now after walking quite a few miles today, up to the village we used to live in and back to Harwich. The sun came out though later in the afternoon , which was very welcome (not in this lighthouse shot though!) My eyes are closing now after all that sea air! It's catch-up-on-your-blips day tomorrow though (apologies again!)
