Follow the Rainbow

I (Annie) worked another day in Leeds today. A full on day with lots of presentations to do, but we did at least get to finish at 3pm. I took the opportunity to head off early to avoid the majority of Leeds traffic.

On the way home I played my favourite SatNav game - set it to avoid Motorways and see much more interesting bits of the world en route. I went straight through the Peak District, and was so enjoying the normal roads I ended up coming all the way home without once setting wheel on the M1. It did take me twice as long, but it beats a dull commute any day.

This rainbow was reaching down to the turbines near Rugby so I deviated even further off the beaten path for the blip.
