Emergency Room Again

Yesterday at 3:30, I went to an orthopedic Dr. to have him look at my shoulder. He gave me a steroid shot. He said since I have diabetes I might have elevated blood sugar after the shot . By ten I wasn’t feeling good. I then took my blood sugar. It read 333. Called the advisor nurse at Carle and was told I should go to the ER (you all know how I feel about doing that. I was there from 11:30 last night until 8 this morning. They wanted to keep me but I wanted to come home. I didn’t think when I went it was all that serious. Turns out it could have been life-threating. I got no sleep all night as they were testing, taking blood, giving me IV’s etc. I am feeling poorly today. Went to my own dr. when I got out of hospital this morning.
She has now put me on insulin 3 times a day. I guess I had what they call
