Wray Castle ceiling

A cloudy and showery day in the Lake District so we spent some of it indoors.

Wray Castle (on the western shore of Lake Windermere) is now owned by the National Trust but was built in 1840 for a retired Liverpudlian surgeon. It has a rather dramatic ceiling towering above the central hallway.
